therapy for chronic illness and adhd
Being diagnosed with a chronic illness or late diagnosed adhd can have huge impact about the way you feel about yourself - accepting your limitations, your sense of worth for not being able to engage in tasks the way society expects - in a neurotypical or ableist way, grief for needs not being met or being believed, the family scapegoat for being the ‘difficult’ child growing up.
